1.  Product characteristics

The paint is made of epoxy resin, zinc powder, etc., and mixed with two components of curing agent in proportion. The paint is resistant to solvent corrosion, has excellent anti-rust performance, has cathodic protection effect, can penetrate into the welding gap, has excellent water and rust resistance, and has stable weather resistance under sunlight.

2.  Usage instructions

(1) Uses.

The paint is suitable for shipbuilding, Bridges, containers and other steel components and chemical equipment.

(2) Construction requirements

Recommended number of coating lines: airless spraying, dry film 50-80um, brush or roll coating need to paint 2-3 lines.

After the matching paint: epoxy cloud iron anti-rust paint, iron red epoxy anti-rust paint, epoxy zinc phosphate anti-rust paint, epoxy aluminum tripolyphosphate anti-rust paint, epoxy asphalt paint, chlorinated rubber anti-rust paint, acrylic polyurethane and other types of finish paint.

Surface treatment: Oxidized steel: sandblasted to Sa2.5 grade, surface roughness 30-75um. Or use pickling treatment to remove all the oxide, rust, and thorough neutralization, washing and passivation. Non-oxide steel: sandblasting to Sa2.5, or grinding to St3 with pneumatic or electric elastic grinding wheel.

Steel coated with shop primer: The white rust on the damaged paint film, rust and zinc powder primer is removed twice, and the white rust is removed and polished to St3 level.

Construction conditions: The temperature of the substrate should be higher than the dew point temperature by more than 3℃. When the outdoor construction temperature is lower than 0℃, the reaction of epoxy and curing agent will stop, so it is not suitable for construction. Relative humidity should not be more than 85%.

3. Matters needing attention

The drying and curing time of epoxy zinc-rich paint decreases with the increase of temperature. The temperature can be constructed between 0-10 ° C, but the curing speed is very slow. Adequate ventilation is required during drying and curing of epoxy zinc-rich paint.
