Pretreatment of steel components of equipment

１．Remove impurities and oil stains on the surface of the equipment, oil stains can be removed with detergents, such as phosphate and other corrosive salts, should be washed with clean water and dried with compressed air. Use sandblasting to remove scale, rust and other impurities, and then use compressed air to remove the surface of the steel (sandblasting and rust removal reaches SA2.5 level).

If sandblasting and rust removal is carried out unconditionally, the surface of the substrate can be polished and rusted with a grinder and an iron brush in the way of manual rust removal, so that the surface is free of rust and impurities, and then cleaned with compressed air. Ensure that the surface of the equipment is free of moisture, dust, oil and impurities.

After the surface of the equipment is pre-treated, spray the primer as soon as possible, otherwise it will rust again after rain．

Since water-based paint is easy to flow away from sharp corners to form a "corner effect", in order to protect the corners from corrosion, it is necessary to smooth the corners and pre-coat them in time.
